At Moving Muscles Massage Therapy, each session is customized around your areas of tension, your goals, and your comfort level. I work with clients experiencing muscle knots, tightness, and tension using a combination of therapeutic massage techniques tailored to what your body needs that day.
Sessions typically begin with a conversation about your problem areas, pain and tightness, goals, pressure preferences, and any injuries or other considerations that may affect your session.
I commonly begin with Swedish or relaxation massage strokes to warm the area, palpate for tension, and distribute oil. From there, I may incorporate Trigger Point Therapy to address stubborn muscle knots, followed by Deep Tissue Massage when appropriate. Gua Sha or gentle scraping with heated stone tools may also be incorporated to work with areas of tension and fascia. Pressure is always adjustable based on your preferences and comfort level.
I also offer Sports Massage, Cupping, Hot Stone/Hot Rock Massage, Couples Massage, and Medical Massage.
